Parish Council Elections 2012
    Kingswood Parish Council will have an election on this day to elect 7 Councillors to the Parish Council.

If you wish to stand your nomination needs to be in by Wednesday 4th April at Noon to Stroud District Council.

The Parish Council is hiolding an informal session on Monday 26th March 7pm - 7.30 for you to find out more about the role of the Councillor.

Forms are available from Stroud District Council Election Office and also the Parish Council. A small number of forms will be available at the session on Monday 26th 2012.

The Parish Council is made uo of 7 Councillors who meet on the second Monday of the month for the purpose of transacting the business of the parish.

The Council meets at Kingswood Village Hall at 7.15. At the start of every meeting is a time for the public to ask question. Please feel free to attend the meetings.

The Parish Council is responsible for the playing field and the play equipment, the cemetery, the public convenience, the flower beds on The Chipping and various other pieces of open spaces around the village.
