On the 31st of July at Rodborough common some Scouts helped the Parish Council to record the number plates, colour, make and any defining features of a vehicles which are over 8 tons or have chevrons because it is illegal to drive these vehicles over Rodborough/Mincinhampton commons.This is because they harm the surrounding area of the common and damage the environment.
We even spotted one of the Highway Agency's own 8 ton vehicles with chevrons crossing the common!
