On Sunday the 28th September we set off at 8:30am to do the Five Valleys Walk. We started flat!
We then had to go up a steep hill to Minch Common where we were rewarded with an ice cream.
My two year old brother and dad managed to get as far as Toadsmoor so they walked 7 miles.
From Toadsmoor Walley we went up and down into 4 more valleys, some very wet and slippery with a few obstacles! We didn’t stop and we even had to eat on the way. We got back to Dudbridge just after 5:30pm.
Me and my six year old brother had very achy legs but were really pleased we had walked 21 miles.
We all really enjoyed this walk and raised just over £200 for the Meningitis Trust.

NB: Alex and Daniel managed from Dudbridge to Slad and the leaders and Oliver managed to get as far as Stanley Woods before they ran out of time and energy.
