Ragwort Pulling
On the 30th of July James, Oli and I went to Haresfield beacon to go ragwort pulling with our scout leader Theresa Mansbridge.
The point of the ragwort pulling is to stop grazing animals eating the ragwort and dying of the poison, the other reason is it is not a native of this country and we do not have the animals to feed on it to keep it at bay.
When we got to Haresfield beacon we started to pull the ragwort up, (it was very hard!!!!!!!!!!!!)
At the end of the day we managed to pull up all the ragwort from three fields, ( it was a very enjoyable day but very tiring!)
