Bookings are made in the diary kept in the village shop or by phoning the chairman or vice chaiman on the numbers indicated on the booking form.
Uley and Owlpen Village Hall was built in 1849 to provide a meeting place for villagers and a venue for the Sunday School. It is used by many organisations on a regular basis during the week including: Playgroup, other & Toddlers, Uley Singing Allsorts, Uley Society, Fellowship,WI, Sewing Group and the Parish Council.
The hall is managed on behalf of the village by a Management Committee.The current Chairman is Mrs S Ingram tel 01453 860068.
Hiring Charges as of November 2011 are:
Regular users ( minimum of 4 bookings per year) £14.50 per session (2-3 hours)
Casual Users - £8.50 per hour up to 6.00 pm that day and in the evening - £11.50 per hour from 6.00pm to midnight.
Parties - £73.50 per evening until midnight.
All Day Weddings - £145-00 until midnight.
