W have a vast array of classes to suit all ages and abilities Each class mentioned apart from the Adult Gym Club is suitable for for anyone aged 14 years and above
All sports centre fitness classes are half price to anyone aged between 14 and 16 years of age
Hardcore Outdoor
This new class takes place on a Monday evening from 7.30pm - 8.30pm.
It is a fast paced workout which includes shuttleruns, squats, and press ups in a bootcamp style.
This class is not suitable for those just staring an exercise programme.
Box Fit

Box fit is a class that is centred on basic boxing and martial arts training.
To add variety to the workou, a mixture of equipment is used such as punch bags, boxing gloves and punch mitts.
The class is suitable for all fitness levels.
Box Fit takes place every Saturday morning from 10.30am - 11.30am.
Power Hour

This is a brand new class using Kettle bells.
Power hour is designed burn fat, build up high levels of cardiofitness and gain both strength and power.
There are two classes available
8.30pm – 9.30pm on a Wednesday

7.45pm – 8.45pm on a Thursday.

Hula Hoop

This class is for all fitness levels and must be booked in advance.

Flexi-Bar

This brand new form of exercise is new to Dursley Pool. Using a portable vibration training device, this workout will sculpt your muscles, tone your wobbly bits and improve your core stability. The flexi bar works all the muscles over the entire body, the action of shaking the bar causes a vibration to be passed through the body.

Aerobics and Body Conditioning
Wednesdays 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Suitable for beginners and intermediate level fitness.
All routines are broken down and put together one step at a time. There is no hurry as repetition helps even the most unco-ordinated of us.
As the weeks progress you will soon find you can move with the best of them.
Freestyle Aerobics
Thursdays 6.30pm - 7.30pm
An action packed high and low impact class, with choreography to keep you on your toes.
We call these classes the ultimate fat burners working for a full 45 minutes on your aerobic fitness before you change tempo and work on your strength and relaxation stretch.
You can choose the level you work at, as the instructor will give you alternative exercises to try to suit your fitness levels.

This popular mixed ability class is based around a mixture of martial arts and body combat.
You need to try this class to experience the full benefit of what the workout can achieve.
220 Circuits
Mondays 6.30pm - 7.30pm
This Class uses benches and mats that takes you through a fairly rigorous routine that you can build up to at your own pace
Circuit Training
This circuit training class is suitable for all fitness levels. This class is a mixture of strength and aerobic exercise to help you achieve your personal fitness goals. If you are an exercise beginner, introduce yourself to Jerry and he will assist you with the exercises until you feel able to do them on your own
Circuit Training takes place on a Thursday evening between 6.30pm and 7.30pm
Step Zone
Mondays 6.30pm - 7.30pm
A basic step class which concentrates on basic step action for legs and repetitive upper body conditioning moves. Suitable for all fitness abilities and for those of you who find coordination a little bit of a problem
All Body Conditioning
Monday 7.30pm - 8.30pm
This class works on improving your strength and muscle tone. Each week
Nicky will put you through a routine using a variety of exercises and equipment. Body bars, hand weights, resistance bands, steps, chairs and your own body weight will help you to sculpt your body. Body conditioning is a very effective way of burning fat when combined with a calorie-controlled diet.
On the Ball Body Conditioning

Balls are supplied by us but you are welcome to bring your own, where the entrance fee will be at a reduced rate

Adult Gym Club
Saturdays 10.15am - 11.15am (with Shape management)
Each week you will be treated to a selection of different fitness routines. Gym circuits, fat burners, mini competitions, beat your score and so much more.
All of the sessions are developed to help you improve your own personal fitness and achieve the goals that you thought were out of reach.
These sessions are suitable for anyone aged 16 years and above
