W I Programme - Programme

Our Institute is a branch of the Gloucestershire Federation of Women's Institutes. We have a membership of 28 and meet regularly on the evening of the third Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.

Our committee of seven is comprised of:

• Mrs Wendy Coleman (President)
• Mrs Freda Kottmeier (Secretary)
• Mrs Cynthia Richards (Treasurer)
• and 4 others

The programme at each meeting includes a speaker, refreshments and a time for any business brought up by the committee.

Speaker's subjects have been many and varied and have included, "Car rallying from Peking to Paris", "The Azores", "Microwave Cookery", and "Secrets of a Honeymoon Suitcase".

Each year there is at least one outing and a Christmas celebration.

We also join with other institutes of the Severnside group for meetings in the Spring and Autumn.
